Third-Party Data Privacy Policy

Is my personal data secure?

We use proper technical, organizational, and administrative safety measures to preserve any data we retain in our records from loss, abuse, and illegal access, disclosure, alteration, and destruction. Still, no business or service can assure perfect security. Unauthorized entry or use, hardware or software breakdown, or any additional factors may jeopardize user information security at any point. Among other practices, a password is a key for your privacy and security. Unauthorized access to your account and Personal Data should be prevented. Finally, we utilize Google Analytics, a web analysis service given by Google, better to understand your use of our Websites and Services. How long do we keep our information?

We rarely need your permission to use your Personal Data. With direct marketing, for instance, we need your consent to make you aware of products and services which may be of interest to you. What options do I have?

International Data Transfers

Using the Services, you accept that ScraperDev will manage your data in the United States, Croatia, and any other country where ScraperDev runs its operations. Also, your Personal Data may be transferred outside of the European Economic Area (EEA), so we can provide the products and Services to you. Privacy laws and standards, including the rights of authorities to access your Personal Data, may differ from those in your country. Consequently, we will transfer Personal Data to the countries where we are lawfully permitted to transfer it, and also we will take measures to guarantee data protection.

To the extent that ScraperDev is deemed to transfer Personal Data outside of the EEA, we rely separately and autonomously on the subsequent legal bases to transfer your information:

Model Clauses

The European Commission has raised standard contractual clauses Model Clauses, which protect Personal Data that is transferred outside of European borders, which we also use. You can demand a copy of our Model Clauses by sending an email to info@scraperdevelopment.com.

Privacy Shield

ScraperDev may rely upon the EU-US Privacy Shield to transfer Personal Data to some of our third-party service providers in the United States. They have the certificate to receive such information under the Privacy Shield Program.

Necessary for the performance of the contract between ScraperDev and its customers

With ScraperDev, you can choose if you want to use our Services or not. However, if you’re going to use the Services, you need to accept our Terms of Service, which set out the contract between ScraperDev and its customers. We operate worldwide, and are unable to perform our contract with you without moving your Personal Data around the world.

Linked Websites

You will find hyperlinks on the Websites that link to other websites (the “Linked Sites”), so you don’t waste your valuable time searching for them. Please be aware that we do not take any responsibility for it, and our Privacy Policy does not apply to any linked sites. These linked sites may collect some additional information which we do not require on our Websites. Also, please be aware we do not endorse any of these Linked Sites, the services or products described or offered on such Linked Sites, or any of the content contained on the Linked Sites. Your Responsibilities

If you are a user of our services, you may individually collect specific Personal Data, such as when scraping third party websites. This means you process Personal Data, and, to a certain degree, you do so under EU law, which implies that you are an independent controller of data relating to individuals that you may have obtained during your use of the Services. It is your accountability to determine the legality of collecting, storing, controlling, or processing such Personal Data.

Your accountability is in protecting Personal Data you collect or process and complying with all relevant legal requirements when you use the Services. ScraperDev is not liable for this, and this Privacy Policy does not apply to any of the Personal Data you decide to collect or store as a part of your use of the Services.

If you and ScraperDev are the joint data controllers or processors of Personal Data, and if ScraperDev is sued, fined, or otherwise incurs expenses because of something that you have done as a joint data controller or processor, you accept to indemnify ScraperDev for the costs and fees (including any legal fees or fines) it occurs in conjunction with your control or processing of Personal Data.

Children

ScraperDev does not intentionally gather or solicit Personal Data from anyone below the age of 18. If you are below 18, please do not try to register for the Services or send any Personal Data about yourself to us. We will delete that information as quickly as possible if we learn that we have collected Personal Data from a child under age 18. If you suppose that a child under 18 may have given us Personal Data, please contact us at info@scraperdevelopment.com.

Future Changes of our Privacy Policy

We are continually working on the improvement of our Websites and Services and therefore may revise or update our Privacy Policy in the future.
